Interesting, I like how you changed up your mermaid and gave her two fish covering her breast rather the the usual clams. Is that a moon in the background? My only critique would be to maybe change the moon and make it raised up more out of the water, maybe only show the bottom half rather than the whole thing so that it doesn't look like it's actually down in the water.

The eyes and pale skin are nicely done. The brightness of the brown eyes really draws your eyes to them. I don't know what all the marks are on you/your guy drawing. Are these scars or tattoos or birthmarks of some sort?
