Graphics are pixel art and have a black and white tone. The controls are tricky, and it can take a few minutes to figure out how to use them. Playing as a frog is fun in this platformer. Very good for a game made in only ten days.

This is an a very unique game. Rhythm meets a RPG Maker game, and the graphics seem to have a sci-fi feeling to them. If you like to try new things, and love Rhythm action, than this is the game for you.

[Rocky Rhodes and the Cracked Case]

The black and white graphics give it a noir feeling. Point and click and using WASD keys are very simple controls that have worked for many decades. If you take your time, solving the mystery can be done.

['Tower of the Missing Sock' - DEMO]

Graphics are retro and have a top down view. I can see the influence from The Legend of Zelda. Attacking enemies can be challenging since it is hard to determine the range of your attack. This is the first game that I have played on NewGrounds that is all about finding missing socks.

[Pico Snail! : Dream Castle]

The Graphics are not only retro, but also have a cute feeling. Controls make it fun to run around and take out the enemies. Except, for the birds. Flying enemies can always be tricky. This is a fun little platformer game.

[Apocalypse Of The Damned (ALPHA)]

Graphics are retro, and it looks like a brawler game to me. Controls were easy to master. This is only an Alpha. I am sure the finished game will look and play much better.

Graphic are shadowy, but you can still tell everything apart. The controls work well enough with no issues. There is a learning curve, but with enough practice it can be figured out.

The graphics are basic, and they are definitely are not the main focus. Controls are normal, and nothing too complicated about them. This game is all about solving puzzles and getting past these challenges. Some levels are much more difficult than others. The level editor is a nice feature as well.

Graphics are pixel art, the colors are bright and cheery. The controls are just moving and jumping. While this game is wholesome, it suffers from a high level of difficulty. To reach a larger audience, the difficulty should really be lowered. There should be more check points, and they should also function correctly.

Pixel art is the graphics of choice for these games on NewGrounds. Controls are simple enough to be able to move and shoot at the same time. There is lots of bullet hell quality within. This game is challenging, so make sure that you are ready for it.
