This reminds me of Mario Paint for the SNES. I drew a picture of a cool robot. When I used the paint bucket to color it grey, the entire screen turned grey. What that supposed to happen? How do I color my robot all grey, while its nighttime in the background?

nokoi responds:

Use the background line tool with a big width. The fill tool is for pasting line attributes

This is another version of the famous " Collect Three " puzzle games. Playing as an UFO is an okay idea, but the UFO should have some outer space powers. If you included some power ups to destroy certain blocks, or at least change a block's color. That would be an improvement.

bluswimmer responds:

Thanks for the feedback!

This has been influenced by the old school Arcade game Frogger, which was ported to Atari and not the NES. The graphics were changed a little bit, but its Frogger. Gameplay is exactly the same as Frogger. This is just a demo so; it could be better once you submit the completed product.

AtreyuGilbert responds:

Well, it is in fact the Arcade Mode. The final product will have a Story/Adventure mode that adds in more features as well as more levels. Still kinda deciding whether or not the game will feature the original Arcade graphics throughout but I'll be thinking about it. Thanks for the gold!

Pixel Art graphics have the best ability to stand the test of time. That is why they are used so often. As with most games, you should include a way to remap the controls. Adding more attacks and power ups would help with the combat.

SharpedStoneStudios responds:

Thanks a lot for that!
This was a small game jam game, but we are working on a follow up with the same concept which will be a full game. Check it out here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1773740/Hermit_an_Underwater_Tale/

This is one of the best Hobo versus Baller Land games that I have ever played. The Hobo could use more powerups and secret Hobo magical skills. He needs all that cash.

The medal works, and I earned it.

thanks doctor strongbad

Using Pixel Art to represent a cyberpunk world worked off well. Controls are okay but could use the ability to remap the keys. Gameplay is hurt by the enemies being way too strong. If you had used a Beta Tester, you could have avoided these issues. If you need a Beta Tester for your next project, let me know.

MoeAnguish responds:

Thanks

Pixel art graphics are looking good. If you want your game to stand the test of time, use pixel art. Having a two player game with a bot computer player is vital, and you did it. Having a mute button on the main screen is also awesome. Every game should have that option. This is excellent for an indiesvspewdiepie jam made in 72 hours.

Wolod responds:

Thank you very much!

Graphics are decent for a runner and gunner game. The gameplay was going well, until the lagged kicked in. Lag can ruin even the best game. Once you correct the slow downing, this game will really improve.

SinclairStrange responds:

Thanks for the reviews of the previous games! (Thought I would just comment on just one) Sadly a lot of these games were made years ago and also within 72 hours Ludum Dare game jam so sadly they've all have issue due to the short time in order to develop them.

Hope you've enjoyed them despite that, have a great day ^-^

Pixel art graphics will always look good, there is almost no way you can mess them up. The controls were tight and responsive. The gameplay was fun to run and gun all those enemies. However, it is only a demo so it loses points.

I love most video game parody movies and I'm trying to earn my way to the top. :)
